MOORESVILLE, NC (WBTV) - Firefighters in Mooresville want drivers to be aware of a potential traffic issue during their morning commute.

The Shepherds Fire Department says the driver of a tractor trailer crashed into a ravine off I-77 north at mile marker 38 early Thursday morning. The driver was hurt but is expected to be okay.

The fire department says a wrecker will remove the big rig sometime Thursday morning. Firefighters say this is likely to cause more delays than a normal, for several hours.
