CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Emergency officials were called to a moving truck company after a call for a suspicious package was made on Tuesday.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Officers, Charlotte Firefighters and HazMat crews were called to the U-Haul Moving & Storage along the 1200 block of North Tryon Street in Charlotte just after 11 a.m.

WBTV crews on scene were told that a powder was found in an envelope in the area. HazMat later confirmed that the chemical was a cleaning product and that there were no hazardous conditions.

The business was reopened nearly hours later.
