Firefighters from Crowder's Mountain Fire & Rescue, Union Road Volunteer Fire Department, and personnel from Gaston Emergency Medical Services battled a structure fire Monday morning in Gaston County.
At 5:02 a.m., Crowder's Mountain Fire & Rescue received a dispatch of a reported structure on fire along the 300 block of Pinnacle Road, according to a news release from Crowder's Mountain Fire & Rescue.
Crews arrived on the scene and witnessed a one story manufactured home, with heavy smoke and fire smoldering from the rear of the structure.
Firefighters battled the blaze, and were able to contain the fire to the rear porch of the structure.
A total of 20 personnel were on the scene, along with 4 fire apparatus. The structure sustained approximately $7000 in damages due to the fire.
No injuries to firefighters or civilians were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Gaston County Fire Investigations Task Force.
