Police in Huntersville say they are still searching for two suspects connected to home break-in that sparked a lock down at a high school Monday morning.
Officials with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools said the lock down at Hopewell High School in Huntersville was lifted as of 11:50 a.m. Monday morning.
Earlier, CMS confirmed the lock down was ordered at 9:50 a.m. due to a nearby police situation.
The school is located off of Beatties Ford Road at Hambright Road.
Huntersville Police are investigating a break-in at a home nearby on Latta Springs Circle, in the Latta Springs subdivision.
Just after 12:30 p.m., police confirmed a juvenile was in custody but said officers were still searching for two other suspects.
