Charlotte Rescue Mission opens doors to donors

The Charlotte Rescue Mission held an open house to let people see their donations at work.

The Mission's Rebound Men's program benefits from the generosity of individuals and businesses in the community. Sunday the organization opened its doors to their donors.

One of the Rescue Mission residents, Daniel Wolf, says he became homeless and unemployable after losing his family, his car and his job.

"I had an alcohol addiction and I couldn't manage my life on my own and I couldn't get clean on my own. So I had to come here and get away from the world and come to a safe place," said Wolf.

He's benefiting from the 90 day faith-based program that's helping him get back on his feet.  The Rescue Mission has launched its Turkey Drive for the upcoming holidays. You an donate to fill the food boxes that the REscue Mission gives away to families in  need.
