The Charlotte region is bracing for another night of chilly temperatures that will produce a frosty morning.
The National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg has issued a Frost Advisory for most of the WBTV viewing area from midnight through 9 a.m. Friday morning.
WBTV Meteorologist Ashley Batey says now that skies are clearing, temperatures cool off much more quickly and efficiently overnight. Much of the area will drop into, or very close to, freezing.
Any sensitive plants should be covered and pets need a warm place to spend the night. Also, make sure they have access to clean, fresh, unfrozen water.
Temperatures will warm back up to around 64 degrees on Friday with plenty of sunshine.
