CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - The staff at United Family Services in Charlotte is excited for the opening of a brand new 80-bed facility to house women and children in our community that otherwise deal with domestic violence.
Karen Parker, Chief Advancement Officer at United Family Services, and Governor's domestic task force visited WBTV News Sunday Morning to talk about the shelter and to talk about the need in our community for such a facility.
