CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Dr. Mickey Barber didn't have a history of breast cancer in her family, so, when her sister was diagnosed it was a surprise to the family.
Dr. Barber's sister passed away four years ago and instead of becoming consumed by her grief she has chosen to do something positive instead, in order to encourage other women to do what they can to fight the disease before it rears its ugly head.
She passed along her five tips on WBTV News Sunday Morning.
