In Gaston county 3 people were sent to the hospital after their car overturned.
It happened on the 500 block of Sparrow Springs Road around 11:30 Friday night.
Firefighters from Crowder's Mountain Fire & Rescue, and personnel from Gaston Emergency Medical Services, and Dallas Rescue responded to the accident.
The car had 4 passengers and one person was thrown from the vehicle.
Sparrow Springs Road was shut down for an hour and a half.
One patient was transported to Gaston Memorial Hospital with life threatening injuries, 2 patients were transported with non life threatening injuries, and one patient refused treatment at the scene.
