ALBEMARLE, NC (WBTV) - Last Friday, the Albemarle Bulldogs wrapped up a share of the Yadkin Valley Conference Title and can get the out right championship this Friday with a win over rival South Stanly.
The Bulldogs were expected to be good this season and they have lived up to it so far as they are 9-1.
But the big goal is a 1A State Championship. Something they came up short of last season as they were upset in the playoffs.
The Albemarle Bulldogs are the FFN Overtime Spotlight Team this week.
Also in this edition is a preview of a big Friday in the Southern Carolina Conference as well as a closer look at the 3 way tie at the top of the Catawba Valley Conference.
