Killer flees after shooting a man in the face, killing him

LIVE: WBTV's Cam Man Ron Lee is following the search for a killer in Charlotte this morning. A man was shot in the face and died. What is starting to concern the neighborhood and police is the fact that this is one of several crimes that have taken place recently in the area. Plus, police told us there are consistencies with who these victims are. Ron will explain in his live report.

Less than two weeks away from election day and we're getting a glimpse of the early voting numbers in Mecklenburg County. How many people have voted so far? The numbers show quite a swell compared to 2008.
