Panthers CB Chris Gamble Done for the Season

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - The Carolina Panthers put cornerback Chris Gamble on IR today due to a shoulder injury. The move ends the 9 year veteran's season after only playing 4 games in 2012.

Gamble started the first 4 games of the season and tallied 15 tackles and 2 pass defenses. Last season, Gamble had 3 interceptions but didn't come up with any this season.

This move was the first personnel move after the firing of Panthers GM Marty Hurney.
