PSI Monday: NASCAR legend's lost waterfront

MOORESVILLE, NC (WBTV) - Bobby Allison is a NASCAR legend, a hall of famer. A few years after leaving racing he and his wife Judy moved into a home on Lake Norman. It was perfect.

"I've always loved to fish," said Bobby Allison. "I love to boat ride."

The Allison's moved into the modest lake front home in 1999. The Allisons were enjoying their retirement until things began to change a few years later. Bobby's fishing utopia was left high and dry.

"Heartbreaking," said Bobby Allison.

The cove where they dock their boat was now less lake and more mud.

"We've had to mow this (the cove)," said Judy Allison as she looked out from her dock.

What's causing the problem? We go in search of answers in a "Problem Solver Investigation" Monday night on WBTV News at 11.
