The Alexander County Sheriff's Office says they are searching for a woman who was reported missing nearly a week ago.
According to investigators, Steffie Meagan Adams was reported missing on Friday by a family member. Family members told investigators that they have not heard from her since September.
The 25-year-old Adams is described as a white female, 5′9″ with brown hair and hazel eyes. Her last known address was Fox Valley Court in Taylorsville, NC.
According to Alexander County Sheriff's Office, authorities have outstanding warrants for arrest on Adams for Probation Violation. Adams was last seen by her Probation Officer in late August 2012 in Alexander County.
They say they have received information that Adams may have family in Missouri and could possibly be headed there.
Family members tell investigators they are worried about Adams.
