KANNAPOLIS, NC (WBTV) - When Brent Engelhardt and his wife Beth decided they needed more room for their chickens, Beth said she wanted something that would look nice in the yard.
Several months later, their backyard looks like a scene straight out of an old western town.
Chickens run in and out of a saloon, a jail, a "Bird Bath House", and "Nest Egg Bank".
The whole front is a facade that's built around actual chicken coops.
The couple and their two kids built the entire project themselves. The chickens seem to enjoy it.
