Tyler Police have arrested a man they say struck his son with a lawn mower blade during an argument Wednesday morning.
Officer Don Martin with the Tyler Police Department said the incident happened around 7:40 a.m. in the Bordon's parking lot on W. Front Street in Tyler.
Martin said a father and son were having an argument when mowing the lawn on the Bordon property. The fight became violent when the father, identified as Darron Campbell, 51, of Tyler, took a lawn mower blade and cut his 26-year-old son's arm.
The victim was transported by private vehicle to a Tyler hospital.
Campbell was booked in to the Smith County Jail, charged with aggravated assault family violence.
