Police trying to ID duo in robbery

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department are asking for assistance in identifying two men they say robbed a local store.

On Monday, October 8, the duo walked into the 7-11store, located at 2840 Eastway Drive, grabbed the store clerk, and forced him against his will to an office. They then took money and merchandise from the store, along with the clerk's personal vehicle, police said.

The clerk was not injured, and his vehicle was later recovered at a nearby apartment complex. 

The first man is described as a black male, approximately 5'10", with a medium build. He last seen wearing a black pull-over hoodie and jeans. He has sideburns, a goatee, and has short curly hair.

The second man is described as a black male, approximately 6'0", with a medium build, last seen wearing a blue and white full zip up hoodie and jeans.
