CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Fall is the perfect time of year to enjoy the great outdoors in our part of the country.

State parks are primed and ready for visitors.

He also shared information about the Young Filmmakers Project which invites high school students to produce a short film about the benefits of enjoying the great outdoors in a state park.
