CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Charlotte-based artist Anne H. Neilson painted her first angel in 2003. She says that painting helped her find her voice.
Now her Angel Series is the centerpiece of a new coffee-table book which also shares the stories behind the works of art.
Neilson visited WBTV News Saturday Morning to talk about the book and her love of painting.
A portion of the book's net profits will benefit charities including The Harvest Center, Levine Cardiac Kids, Allegro Foundation and Presbyterian Hospice and Palliative Care.
