One person has died in a crash near Harrisonville, MO, Thursday evening. The crash happened on Missouri Highway 7 and Walker Road. It involved a car and a tractor-trailer. Harrisonville is in Cass County.More >>

A Cabarrus County man is in jail after police said he was operating a marijuana growing operation, and a meth lab at a home in Mt. Pleasant.
Police arrested Jeremy Wilson Rivers, 28, Thursday. He was charged with manufacturing marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and other drug related charges.
When officers searched the property, they discovered Rivers was also operating a small meth lab.
Officers from the Alcohol Law Enforcement agency received a tip about the operation on Wednesday.
Members of the Cabarrus County Sheriff's office also assisted in the arrest and seizure.
Rivers' bond was set at $25,000.00. Rivers may also face charges for manufacturing meth, police said.
