WBTV received many calls into our newsroom about BJ Beecher Friday night, so we reached out to Concord head coach Glen Padgett.

The Spiders Quarterback did strain his knee in Friday's 54 to 25 win over Central Cabarrus.

Coach says he's hopeful Beecher will be okay, and will remain questionable until the team knows anything further.

The Spiders are 7-0, and lead the South Piedmont Conference.

They'll host Cox Mill next Friday.
