HUNTERSVILLE, NC (WBTV) -
The Town of Huntersville will start enforcing new traffic rules on Old Statesville Road {Hwy 115} on Monday, October 1st.
According to a memo sent to parents of students at Lake Norman Charter Schools, a traffic officer will only allow right turns to campus. Cars can still turn right or left when leaving the school.
If a driver is coming south of the Lake Norman Charter Schools, the Town suggest using Alexanderana Road to Statesville Rd {Hwy 21} to Verhoff Drive.
In addition to the Lake Norman Charter schools, North Mecklenburg High and Alexander Middle Schools will also be affected by the new pattern.
