Ambulance accident kills female EMT

Hello again everyone, it's Paul Cameron in the WBTV newsroom. 

Tonight at 5:00PM—a medic, riding in an ambulance, was killed when her vehicle collided with a tractor-trailer in front of a hospital in Monroe.  Highway 74 was shut down for hours.  We just learned the victim's name and are working to gather new details by news time. 

Authorities still looking for a 12-year old girl they say abducted by a convicted sex offender.  The amber alert extends into South Carolina and Georgia.   

Good news from the hospital for UNC basketball coach Roy Williams—the tumor on his kidney was non-malignant.  Leah Rubertino will have more during the sports segment.

A local pastor jailed and charged with taking indecent liberties with a child.  Tonight, our reporter Coleen Harry is digging into details of the arrest.
