Emergency crews have cleared the scene of a wreck that caused traffic delays in west Mecklenburg County.
A North Carolina DOT vehicle was involved, and a crew member from Shelby hurt. DOT told WBTV the crew member was taken to the hospital, and Highway Patrol is investigating.
The accident happened just after 2:30 p.m. Tuesday on I-485 near exit 14, between Mt. Holly Road and the Brookshire Freeway.
The left two lanes of I-485 were closed until about 4:30 p.m.
