WEST JEFFERSON, NC (WBTV) - The NC Highway Patrol says a two-year-old boy was killed and his 10-month-old sister was hurt in a wreck in Ashe County on Saturday.
They say the children were inside a Dodge Neon driven by their mother, who turned left in front of a large SUV. The crash happned on NC highway 221.
Troopers say Brayden Roten of West Jefferson was killed.
His sister, their mother and one other person were taken to the hospital but have since been released.
