HARRISBURG, NC (WBTV)—Police are looking for an armed robber who may have struck a business on Highway 49 South for a second time in two weeks.
Police say a man wearing all black clothing and Pittsburgh Pirates baseball cap walked into the side entrance of the Bojangles at 4850 Highway 49 South around 8:15 Thursday night. The suspect hopped over the counter, showed a gun then went right to the register to collect the money himself, officers say.
He ran off with an undisclosed amount of money.
Police believe the same man may have robbed the Carolina Fast Mart BP Station on Highway 49 South just 11 days prior to this week's incident on September 9th. In that case, police say the robber also hopped over the counter, showed a gun and made off with cash.
