Charlotte, NC (WBTV) -The Carolina Panthers began their on-the-field preparations Tuesday for their Thursday night primetime home match-up against the defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants--well sort of. The Cats were actually forced inside for workouts due to the weather and they ran through drills at the Convention Center Ballroom.
Due to the Panthers quick three day turnaround from Sunday's win over New Orleans to their Thursday game against the Giants lots of players were limited or held out of practice like linebacker Jon Beason and receiver Steve Smith who were limited and Jonathon Stewart and Thomas Davis who did not work out at all.
When asked which players sitting out or resting concerned him, Head Coach Ron Rivera replied "all of them".
