Two people were shot, one of them fatally, over the weekend in Hickory.
The shooting was reported at 2:24 p.m. on Saturday along 8th Street SW in Hickory, according to the Hickory Police Department.
Officers found two people that had been shot.
Olutayo Babatonde, was taken to Frye Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Shaun Wilfong was taken to Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte where he remains in critical condition.
Police are looking for a 1990s model Cadillac with a beige top that may be connected to the shooting.
