One person has died in a crash near Harrisonville, MO, Thursday evening. The crash happened on Missouri Highway 7 and Walker Road. It involved a car and a tractor-trailer. Harrisonville is in Cass County.More >>

Police in Mint Hill are looking for a man they say robbed a local store.
The robbery happened Friday just after 9:30 p.m. at the Walgreens on Lawyers Road in Mint Hill, police said.
When officers responded to the call they spoke with employees who stated that a tall black male came in the store and went to the registers demanding money.
He was wearing a dark bluish-gray hoodie, baggy blue jeans, tennis shoes, and was wearing black gloves. He was armed with a large black handgun, the official report states.
Before leaving the store, the robber grabbed a purse that was sitting on the counter. Nothing was taken from Walgreens.
