LANCASTER, SC (WBTV) -
Lancaster Police are looking for a man they say is responsible for an attempted murder at a local restaurant.
Andrual Rashan Ross, 18, of Lancaster, is wanted for attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime, police said.
The alleged attempted murder happened at the Waffle House located at 1300 Highway Bypass West just after 4 a.m. on Sunday.
Officers responded to the restaurant in reference to a report of shots being fired. Employees told the officers that they saw a man shooting a gun at a white, four-door truck. The truck had already left the scene, police said.
The truck then turned up at the Springs Memorial Emergency Room almost immediately after the call, according to the report. One man in the truck, Arkino Coleman, 26, also of Lancaster, had been struck in the head by one of the bullets.
Coleman was treated at Springs Memorial before being airlifted to Carolinas Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition.
Officers say they have been unsuccessful thus far in locating Ross, who is described as a black male, 5'4", and weighing around 115 pounds.
Anyone with information about this incident or the location of Andrual Rashan Ross is asked to contact the Lancaster Police Department at (803)283-1173, or the Anonymous Tip Line at (803)289-6040.
