STATESVILLE, NC (WBTV) -
Deputies in Statesville have charged a duo with illegally selling prescription pain pills.
Stacey Blackwell, 34, and Charity Dawn Blackwell, 40, of Statesville, are charged with distributing a controlled substance, according to the Iredell County Sheriff's Office.
Undercover narcotics agents were able to make multiple purchases from the Blackwells totalling nearly 90 pills with a street value of over $1,900, according to the release.
Charity Blackwell was placed in the Iredell County Dentention Center under a $150,000 and Stacy Blackwell was placed in jail under a $100,000.
