Commuters should expect delays on Rea Road at Pineville-Matthews Road {Hwy 51} through September 20th due to roadwork intended to improve Rea Road. The Charlotte Department of Transportation says there will be irregular periods of lane closures. You may consider using Carmel Road or Providence Road. Typically, Rea Road, Pineville-Matthews Road and Providence Road are heavily traveled during the morning and evening commutes. Allow extra time and practice patience during your commute.
