Suspects arrested in cemetery vandalism

GASTON COUNTY, NC (WBTV) - One of the men accused of vandalizing a local cemetery is in jail on a million dollar bond. After an investigation that started over the summer, all three suspects have now been charged.

Police say Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery was hit twice, once in July and once in August.

The latest arrest happened Saturday, with the capture of Joshua Kimray. Police say Kimray, Michael Fitzgibbons and a juvenile were involved. Surveillance cameras caught two people standing near the property.

In all, 42 graves were desecrated causing about six thousand dollars in damage.
