Kids prepared food packages Sunday at Myers Park Presbyterian Church to help feed children abroad.
Organizers of the program "Stop Hunger Now" will ship 30-thousand meals to Honduras.
They're providing food to feed children for a year, which will help make a difference in their lives.
Brandon Faulkner who is the Program Manager for the Charlotte Operations for "Stop Hunger Now" said "it's immeasurable for me to be able to tell you what they're doing because these kids literally have nothing and these kids are saving lives ...they're giving them another chance to live and breathe another day."
Organizers hope this food along with other donations will make a dent in the country's child hunger problem.
