CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - When we're trying to make the right food choice you might reach for dried fruit, nuts or even a diet soda if you don't want the sugar.
However, a new list of snack food no-no's might surprise you.
The list includes Rice Cakes, Blueberry Muffins, Canned Peaches, Chips and Microwave Popcorn.
Dr. ‘Mickey' Barber and Tiffany Jackson, N.D. and Nutrition Specialist, from the Charlotte based medical institute Cenegenics Carolinas, co-authored a list that appeared in Shape Magazine. Katrina Hall visited WBTV News Saturday Morning to talk about healthy alternatives.
