A gunman - dressed in all black and covering his face - jumps over a counter and robs a convenience store. And it's all on surveillance video.
It happened Sunday night at the Carolina Fast Mart BP on Highway 49 in Harrisburg. The video shows the store clerk suddenly jumping back. Police says the suspect - described as a black male - entered the store displaying a handgun, jumped the counter, and demanded the clerk open the register. When she did, he grabbed the money. Police say he left on foot. There were customers outside pumping gas but the guy apparently walked away casually - not drawing any attention to himself when he left.
The clerk was not physically harmed during the robbery. She was shaken up emotionally.
Police are hoping someone remembers something or sees something familiar about the suspect - and call Crime Stoppers at 704-93-CRIME to qualify for a reward of up to $1,000.
