Detectives arrested a woman Tuesday after they said she agreed to meet an undercover officer at a hotel.
The Lincolnton Police Department, Shelby Police Department and Cleveland County Sheriff's Office worked together in a prostitution sting this week.
Detectives said Elizabeth Anne Winter agreed to meet a potential client at a Lincolnton hotel. But as it turns out, that "client" was actually an undercover Cleveland County Sheriff's Detective.
Winter was arrested and charged with prostitution. She was taken to the Lincoln County Jail and held on $1,000 secured bond.
You may remember WBTV did a story about Winter in March 2011. She was arrested then and accused of running a high-end escort service. At the time, police said she agreed to perform sex acts with an undercover officer for $600. Police also said Winter was running an escort website. It was taken down. WBTV checked today - the website is still down, but there are several business listings on Google.
