Police trying to ID two in armed robbery

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

Police are asking for the public's help in identifying two men they say are responsible for robbing a local store.

The armed robbery happened on September 4, around 10:15 p.m., at the Family Dollar store located at 201 West Arrowood Road, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

One of the two men was captured by the store's surveillance cameras. He is described as a dark-skinned black male, around 6 feet tall, weighing between 175 and 180 pounds.

He has black hair, brown eyes, and had a mustache and goatee. He was wearing a tri-colored zipper hoodie that was black, brown and green, and wearing blue jeans and black tennis shoes, police say. 

The second suspect is described as a black male, around 6'1" tall, weighing between 180 and 190 pounds. He had an afro hairstyle, possibly a goatee, and was wearing a light colored t-shirt and blue jeans, the report states.
