Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man they say is responsible for an armed robbery at a local store.
The armed robbery happened at a Circle K gas station on The Plaza just before 12:30 a.m. on September 4, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
The man is described as a black male, around 20 years old. He is 5 foot 6 inches tall, and weighs around 160 pounds.
During the robbery he was wearing black pants and black Nike shoes. He was not wearing a shirt, but had a white shirt over his face.
If anyone has any information on the man or the robbery, they are asked to call Crimestoppers at (704)334-1600.
