Kelly Rippin

A Pittsburgh native, she is excited to make Cincinnati her new home!

Try not to hold it against her, but she is a dedicated Pittsburgh sports fan and also a proud Nittany Lion.

A 2010 graduate of Penn State University, Kelly double majored in broadcast journalism and public relations.

She also was very active in Penn State University's Dance Marathon, which raises millions of dollars for children with pediatric cancer.

In her senior year, she was a "dancer" in the 46-hour marathon. That means no sitting or sleeping for two days, but seeing the smile on the kids' faces made it more than worth it.

Kelly started her broadcasting career in Clarksburg, WV at WBOY.

While there, she became the Morgantown bureau reporter and weekend anchor.

Previously, she interned in New York City at NBC News and the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric.

In her spare time, Kelly likes to spend time with her family and friends, and she loves to watch football.

She also likes to run, travel, and attempts to cook and bake, but isn't always successful.

She's looking forward to learning all about Cincinnati and finding all the great things the city has to offer!
