GASTON COUNTY, NC (WBTV) - A man dies in an early morning Gaston County wreck.

The accident happened just after 3:30 a.m. Saturday on Chapel Grove School Road.

Emergency crews found a car in a gully and say the driver was thrown from the car and struck a tree.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.

The name of the driver has not been released.
