CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -
It's not every day that a drive to work includes an encounter with a tree. But that's exactly what happened to an employee of Presbyterian Hospital Wednesday. While being dropped off for work, a large branch from on of the trees in the hospital broke off, landing on their car.
Neither the employee nor the driver was hurt. A hospital spokesperson said a tree expert is being called in to evaluate the health of the tree, and the risk of more branches falling.
