The Charlotte 49ers have landed another star from Porter Ridge high school.
Pirates head coach Blair Hardin says running back/strong safety Chris Duffy has verbally committed to the program.
Charlotte recently kicked off their first official practice, and they will open the Inaugural season under head coach Brad Lambert in 2013-14.
Porter Ridge 2012 Graduates Lee McNeil (quarterback), Thomas La Bianca (linebacker), and Stephen Muscarello (kicker) were part of Lamberts first recruiting class.
Football Friday Night's Ford game of the week for Friday, September 8th will be Porter Ridge at A.L Brown.
Duffy has already racked up 4 rushing touchdowns and 1 receiving for the undefeated Pirates.
