CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - You don't need tickets to get into CarolinaFest 2012 and it is open to the public.
Monday's events begin with Charlotte's annual Labor Day parade and the day will finish with a concert by James Taylor.
All day long there will be family activities and bands to listen to. It is the official kickoff to the week of events leading up to the President's acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention.
