The house was rocking for #5 Charlotte hosting #14 Coastal Carolina in soccer Monday night.
On the field, things were very testy as tempers flared throughout this one. The game saw two yellow cards for both teams and a red card ejection for Coastal.
For the 2nd time in 48 hours, the 49ers played into double overtime. Monday's game nearly ended in the 1st OT, but Giuseppe Gentile's goal was waved off due to a Charlotte penalty. Fans and players could not believe it.
Finally in the 2nd period of extra time someone would score. Charlotte's Thomas Allen would end this one with the goal.
Great game as Charlotte goes to 2-0 with a 1-0 win over Coastal. They are now 2-0 overall.
The 49ers also won Saturday night, in Overtime, 2-1 against Denver.
