Breaking: Lance Armstrong stripped of medals and banned from cycling says agency

Big news about cyclist Lance Armstrong broke while you were sleeping overnight. The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency has stripped him of all seven of his Tour de France titles for doping. It didn't stop there. It also plans to ban Armstrong from cycling for life. We'll tell you the decision Armstrong made late last night that led to the USADA's swift announcement. There are also questions whether the USADA even has authority to take this kind of action.

A sad story out of Catawba County where a mother of four was stabbed to death. Officials say her estranged husband committed the crime. What family members told us about the victim's whereabouts that led to their concern for her safety.

Plus, there is a fatal accident in the Charlotte area that could still have an impact on the early part of the commute this morning.
