A Charlotte man was arrested Thursday morning for cutting off his ankle monitoring bracelet.
The Violent Criminal Apprehension Team arrested Keith Allen Murray in University City, according to a news release from Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
Murray is wanted for outstanding warrants for two counts of breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, and interfering with an electronic monitoring device.
Murray had been on CMPD Electronic Monitoring since he was released from jail on April 12, 2012.
Murray is the 22 offender monitored by CMPD to cut a monitor off in 2012 as compared to 17 in 2011.
