CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -
Police in Charlotte are still looking for leads after a man who has robbed at least 10 area convenience stores remain on the loose.
The robberies occurred from May 20 through July 11 all across Charlotte, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, at convenience stores between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m.
The suspect is described as a dark skinned black male between 20-30 years of age, approximately 5'10"-6'0", average /muscular build, some facial hair and left handed.
The suspect was wearing blue jeans, gray and black digital camouflage zip-up hooded sweatshirt, black t-shirt underneath the hooded sweatshirt and a black ski mask over his face with the hood of the sweatshirt pulled up over his head. The suspect was also wearing blue gloves with a "NY" logo on them and had a black or silver handgun.
Crimestoppers is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the man.
