Consumer reporter Kristen Miranda discovered a Charlotte company that specializes in Data Dots, which are similar to tiny pant drops, except these dots contain information that can be read with extreme magnification. The auto industry has begun using data dots on car parts to identify where it came from in case of theft. But these dots also have a huge implication for your everyday items. We'll explain at 5:00PM.
