MOORESVILLE, NC (WBTV) -

One person was taken to the hospital after a train smashed through a tractor trailer in Mooresville.

The incident was reported around 2 p.m. near the railroad intersection at Mazeppa road and Penske Way in Mooresville, according to Iredell County EMS.

Video from Sky3 showed two Norfolk Southern locomotives had crashed into a tractor trailer, leaving the trailer crumpled beside the tracks.

The truck belonged to Gardner Glass out of Wilkesboro. They were in Mooresville to pickup a glass order, according to Cardinal Shipping & Receiving.
